Please read before making a booking

GENERAL TERMS:
Upon booking a tour, or any other product presented in this brochure, you acknowledge and accept to be bound by and comply with the terms and conditions mentioned herein. Big Fish Canada may change these terms and conditions, at its sole discretion, occasionally, and you agree to be bound by and comply with such terms and conditions as they may be modified.
All prices are quoted in American dollars, unless otherwise specified. The prices are based on tariffs and currency exchange in effect as of Jan 01 2008. All prices are subject to adjustment in the event of changes to the tariffs and exchange rates.
MAKING A BOOKING
Contact Big Fish Canada to make a booking.
A deposit, payable by cheque, money order, credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) is required at the time of booking. Your authorization to use your credit card for deposit and/or final payment indicates your compliance with our booking terms and conditions, whether or not you have actually signed the appropriate draft. Faxed, emailed or verbal authorization of your credit card confirms your reservation.
Deposit amount is 50% of the listed package prices.
Final payment is due 45 days prior to departure.
Reservations made within 45 days of commencement of the trip must be accompanied by full payment. Big Fish Canada will forward written confirmation and preliminary travel information upon receipt of deposit.
PAYMENT
Accepted methods of payment: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, cheques. Panorama Travel & Tours (Big Fish Canada affiliate) will appear as vendor on your statement. Big Fish Canada reserves the right to cancel bookings if the payment has not been received within 5 days of the booking.
CANCELLATION PENALTIES:
Cancellations must be made in writing.
FISHING PACKAGES
- Up to 45 days prior to departure - deposit amount
- 44-35 days prior to departure - 75% of the cost
- 34 days or less prior to departure - 100% of the tour cost
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
We highly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance at the time of booking. Please inquire about the cost of Insurance.
BOOKING MODIFICATIONS:
Big Fish Canada will make every effort to accommodate requests changes to bookings. The following fees apply:
FISHING PACKAGES
- Up to 21 days prior to departure - $75. No changes are possible in less than 21 days prior to departure
REFUNDS:
No refund can be made for unused portions of the tour, including but not limited to missed meals or sightseeing. If you must withdraw from the tour for reasons such as illness, be sure to obtain a medical certificate in support of any insurance claim. If, for any reason, Big Fish Canada cancels the tour, your money will be fully refunded, in which case Big Fish Canada. has no further obligation.
DOCUMENTS:
It is the tour participant's responsibility to obtain, at his/her expense, all documentation required by the relevant government authorities, including those for your return to your home country. Big Fish Canada assumes no responsibility for any delay, loss or extra expense incurred as a result of improper or lack of travel documents.
TIMETABLE DEVIATIONS:
Each passenger will have options and opportunity to deviate from the tour return date. Air deviations will be subject to availability and must be requested prior to departure. Air deviations will involve an additional cost.
ITINERARY VARIATIONS:
Slight changes in the day-by-day itinerary may occur due to local conditions and or unexpected operational difficulties beyond our control. Also, should it be necessary, local suppliers reserve the right to substitute tours, performances, meals, etc., with those of equal or greater value, with no further obligation.
EXCHANGE RATES:
All published fares and prices are based on exchange rates at the time of publication and are subject to change at any time without notice.
STANDARDS:
Travelers should be aware that different living standards and practices and different standards and conditions with respect to the provision of utilities, services and accommodation might in Canada. Hotel ratings are based on North American standards; therefore, they cannot be compared to ours judged by your domestic standards. Big Fish Canada will not have liability regarding provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care that may be rendered.
SERVICES NOT INCLUDED IN TOUR PRICES:
Cost of passports, excess baggage charges, additional insurance, unless otherwise indicated in the itinerary, personal items such as laundry, cable telephone calls, room service, additional beverage service, meals and transfers not included in the tour, unless stated otherwise tips to the motor coach driver and local guides, which is subject to your satisfaction with their services; any items not specifically mentioned as included. If necessary, vaccinations are at your expense
SPECIAL ASSISTANCE:
You are required to report any disability requiring special attention to Big Fish Canada at the time of reservation so we can make all reasonable attempts to accommodate the special needs of disabled travelers. In the event of not being able to do so, Big Fish Canada is not responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels, restaurants and other independent suppliers. Most transportation services including the touring motor coach are not equipped with wheelchair ramps. We cannot provide individual assistance to a tour participant for mobility, dining, or other personal needs.
RESPONSIBILITY
Big Fish Canada makes arrangements with reputable suppliers and acts only as an agent for the airlines or contractors providing accommodation, transportation, meals or other services, and accepts no responsibility for the quality of services in hotels, on board aircraft or any vehicle used in connection with the trip, nor for delays, loss or damage of luggage, or accident incurred by passengers resulting from the use of these transportation means, whatever the cause. Also, Big Fish Canada shall not be liable for losses or additional expenses due to customer being late for a service. Big Fish Canada
is not liable or responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property or otherwise in connection with any transportation, accommodation, meals, tour or other services referred to herein, or resulting form neglect or default of any person harmed, corporation or other entity engaged to supply the same.
PRICE INCREASES
All advertised prices are calculated using fixed costs at the time of publication. These costs are dependent on many variables (rate of exchange, fuel costs, etc). Should these prices change, Big Fish Canada reserves the right to increase its price. If the price increase is greater than 7%, the consumer has the right to cancel the contract for travel services and be refunded the full amount paid for these services unless the increase is a result of Government imposed taxes or fuel surcharges approved by the Canadian Transportation Agency.
